In an abandoned desert town within Jewel Land, Sapphie and Kiichi search for a Deco Stone and befriend local wildlife. Meanwhile, at his hideout, Coal learns that Kohaku and Tour have arrived in Jewel Land to assume his position. Back in the deserted town, the pair continues their search until a buffalo they previously assisted provides them with a Deco Stone. Unbeknownst to Sapphie and Kiichi, the buffalo is actually keeping them occupied so that Tour can capture them along with the stone they have just found.
