After being dismissed from Decoranian, Coal arrives in a desolate urban city and takes refuge at NetCafe Yamish. He begins playing the online game Yami Quest to reflect on his future. During his gameplay, Black Angel attempts to question participants but fails. Coal then encounters a player named Yamimin and gifts her a Dark Apple. Their journey continues as they meet Sapphie and engage in a battle that concludes successfully, providing them with their first clue. Simultaneously, Pink and Ruby take actions intended to disrupt the friendship between Black Angel and Yamimin.
