Ep. 2: Akari Discovers the Value of Small Dreams at the Magic Academy

Akari debates attending the magic academy and confides in Ruby, who is kept secret as a pet by Akari's family. Her parents cancel promised celebrations for her sixth grade, prompting Akari to enroll in Jeweland, where time stands still. She meets Miria and Leon, who introduce her to jewel stones and the grand-pri. Her teacher Halite explains the jewel star and its three wishes. Akari admits she lacks big dreams, only having silly ones, which causes her dreams to flee. While retrieving them, she realizes all dreams hold value, regardless of size. She recovers her dreams and earns her first jewel stone, surprising Leon and Miria. Convinced by this experience, Akari decides to embrace her new life at the magic academy.
