Japanese Hare Jewelpet Ruby arrives at the Magic Academy to study but must first find a human with matching feelings. Sent to the Human World, she meets 11-year-old middle school student Akari Sakura on her first day. After falling into the water due to magic, Akari is late for class. Ruby observes Akari’s life, including her embarrassment around classmate Yuma. Ruby apologizes at Akari’s home, where a Jewel Charm appears, confirming their emotional connection. Finally, Ruby takes Akari to Jewel Land, her original home. Both pass the entrance exam and become students at the Magic Academy.
