Seventeen-year-old Jotaro Kujo refuses to leave his jail cell, convinced he is possessed by an evil spirit. His mother Holly, grandfather Joseph Joestar, and Mohammed Avdol arrive to persuade him to exit. A conflict ensues when Avdol’s Magician’s Red confronts Jotaro’s Star Platinum. These entities are revealed to be psychic manifestations called Stands, marking the first appearance of this power system in the series.
