A private jet transporting Jotaro and his companions to Egypt catches fire and crashes into the ocean. The survivors drift in a lifeboat until a large freighter rescues them. Upon boarding, they discover the ship is devoid of crew members. The only other survivors are an orangutan named Forever and Jean-Pierre Polnareff, a Stand user known as Silver Chariot. Polnareff, another victim of DIO, allies with the group. Together, they confront Forever and his Stand, Strength, in a dangerous encounter aboard the deserted vessel.
