Josuke ventures deeper into the Nijimura residence to rescue Koichi. He is suddenly ambushed by numerous beams of light. While Josuke successfully evades the assault, Okuyasu is struck directly in the face. Josuke offers to heal Okuyasu’s injuries in exchange for information regarding the identity of his brother's Stand. Okuyasu refuses to cooperate, leading Josuke to take unexpected action.
