Ep. 17: Jotaro Endures Steely Dan While Allies Attack the Lovers in Joseph's Mind

Kakyoin and Polnareff enter Joseph’s brain to confront the Lovers Stand, which disguises itself using Joseph’s cells to create decoys. Polnareff is injured by these tricks, but Kakyoin eventually identifies the real Stand, forcing it out of Joseph so he can destroy the flesh bud with Hamon. Meanwhile, Jotaro serves Steely Dan, enduring abuse and being forced to steal from a jewelry shop while noting every detail for future revenge. When Steely Dan realizes he is defeated, he attempts to transfer the Lovers into Jotaro, but Star Platinum intercepts the Stand. Steely Dan’s final attempt to escape into a young girl’s ear is blocked by Kakyoin’s tentacle, immobilizing him completely and allowing Jotaro exact his long-awaited retribution.
