On a cargo ship to Africa, Jonah attempts to assassinate Kasper in the restroom but is stopped by Chiquita. Flashbacks show Jonah as a child soldier in Western Asia who massacred an infantry base after his friend Marka died clearing mines. Kasper’s team subdued him, and Kasper revealed he sold the weapons that killed Jonah’s parents. Jonah bargained for his orphans’ safety in Japan by becoming Koko’s bodyguard in Europe. Back in the present, Koko orders Kasper to leave her ship. She apologizes to Jonah for his brother’s actions and comforts him with a hug. Meanwhile, Valmet reflects on her past as the vessel nears Africa, while Lehm advises her not to worry.
