The episode recounts the history of Androcles, a white lion revered by a pharaoh before being stolen. In the present, villagers struggle with Panja, who frees animals, prompting Jake and Kutter to capture his mate Eliza to lure him. Panja is shot dead before Eliza, who reveals she carries his unborn cub. Panja names the future son Kimba before Eliza is taken to a ship for sale. Kimba is born aboard the vessel, where Eliza urges him to return to the jungle to replace his father. Reluctantly, Kimba jumps into the ocean to begin his journey.
