Ep. 13: Jubei II battles Taiko Daiyu while Koinosuke departs after the New Student Lovelies form

Jubei II struggles against Shiro, who possesses Taiko Daiyu, while Koinosuke explains the situation to the group. Shiro takes over Jubei’s body to block a fatal thrust, allowing Jubei to defeat the entity and release Taiko Daiyu’s spirit. She reveals she cannot return while Taiko Daiyu exists. Sai then allows possession to fight Jubei, during which his spirit retrieves his daughter’s spirit while Jubei II destroys Taiko Daiyu. Despite the victory, Koinosuke leaves. Days later, the heroes celebrate the formation of The New Student Lovelies. Jiyu holds Koinosuke’s whistle, stating she will use it when she wishes to see him again.
