Hajime departs after noting Shiro's hidden desire to battle Jubei II. Subsequently, Shiro joins Jiyu and inquires about the Eyepatch. Jiyu dismisses the item as insignificant and discards it. This sequence highlights the tension between Shiro's current peaceful existence and his unresolved internal conflicts regarding his past and future combat aspirations.
