Ep. 4: Ken faces Naomi's wrath after failing to save her father from the Iron Beast Mechadegon

Ken visits the Institute for Earthquake Research following an earthquake caused by a mecha. He falls into a crevice with director Nakahara, surviving through transmutation while Nakahara perishes. Naomi Nakahara, the director's daughter, attacks Ken, suspecting him of being Galactor. To explain his true identity as a Science Ninja Team member, Ken allows her to join the team. During a mission, the God Phoenix locates the mecha at a base. Ken asks Dr. Nambu for permission to fire bird missiles to let Naomi avenge her father. Nambu refuses, but Ken overrides him and guides Naomi's hand to fire the weapons. Later, Ken offers his bracelet to Nambu, intending to resign for the unauthorized action. Nambu refuses the resignation, citing the need for world peace, while Naomi promises to keep Ken's identity secret.
