High school student Yui Kusanagi discovers a glowing sword in her family shrine, which transports her to a parallel world resembling a school surrounded by gardens. She arrives wearing the sword as a miniature pendant. Zeus, the King of the Gods who created this universe, explains that the weakening bond between deities and humans threatens future disaster. To prevent this catastrophe, Zeus assigns Yui the mission of teaching the 8 gods enrolled in the academy about the human heart. This task aims to restore the connection between the divine and mortal realms through her guidance and understanding of human emotions within the school setting.
