Yui meets eight gods: Apollon Agana Belea, Hades Aidoneus, Dionysus Thyrsos, Tsukito Totsuka, Takeru Totsuka, Balder Hringhorni, Loki Laevatein, and Thor Megingjard. Reactions vary from friendly to hostile. Zeus gathers them in a hall, decreeing they cannot leave this universe until they graduate. Graduation requires filling a chandelier container to show knowledge and having jewelry shackles binding their powers disintegrate spontaneously. Thoth Caduceus, the Egyptian God of Knowledge, is appointed as their teacher. The school officially begins with an entrance ceremony, marking the start of their educational journey under these strict divine constraints.
