Ep. 5: Takeru Challenges Yui to a Duel to Avoid Joining a Club

Thoth commands Yui to recruit the unaffiliated Takeru, who resists due to his hostile nature. When she practices swordplay, he proposes a duel: if she wins, he joins a club. Yui loses, leading Takeru to assume her weakness stems from poor training compared to his morning runs. She begins accompanying him to improve her skills and understand him better. Their bond strengthens until a rainy morning when Takeru leaves early, expecting her to stay behind. Yui falls from a cliff while searching for him, and Takeru saves her in his godly form, breaking his shackle. Zeus suspends Takeru for this act, but Yui argues he showed human emotion. Supported by other gods, Zeus relents, allowing Takeru to recognize Yui’s true strength.
