Ep. 7: Kurama Returns to Mount Kurama Amidst Village Crisis and Miasma

Botanmaru urges Kurama to return to Mount Kurama after Soujoubou, the third chief of the tengu village, collapses, releasing a miasma cloud. Kurama remembers past mistreatment by villagers due to his lineage, except for Suiro, who treated him like a brother. Accompanied by Nanami and Tomoe, the group traverses a foggy forest where Kurama briefly hallucinates an evil Suiro wielding a scythe before hearing a flute. Upon entering the village, they meet Suiro, who resides in a dilapidated house away from the compound. Meanwhile, Yatori serves Jirou, who aims to become the successor within days. Nanami encounters a rotting thousand-year-old sacred cherry blossom tree while seeking a restroom. Three crow tengu yokai children explain its significance. Nanami uses her powers to temporarily restore the tree, causing the children to leave excitedly. As leaves fall, Jirou stares speechlessly at Nanami.
