While she buys tickets, Mamoru defeats four mocking former gods who injured Kirihito, an Akura-Ou yokai in human form. Nanami selects Mizuki, leaving Tomoe to impersonate her at school. Upon reaching Izumo, the pair separates. Mizuki accompanies the late Otohiko, while Nanami faces hostility from other gods for her humanity. Encouraged by a disembodied figure, possibly Mikage, who highlights her unique perspective, Nanami gains the confidence to enter the Divine Assembly chambers.
EP 3Nanami Enters Yomotsu Hirasaka to Rescue Kirihito Amidst Divine Bargains
Jan 27, 2015Ookuninushi tasks Nanami with guarding Yomotsu Hirasaka for two days, a portal accessible only to deities, in exchange for locating Mikage. Upon arrival with Otohiko, Nanami witnesses Kirihito being dragged into the Netherworld by the yokai Tekkimaru, who instantly perishes in purple flames. Nanami pursues Kirihito into the realm to save him. Meanwhile, a homesick Tomoe visits the World Over Yonder to drink but is interrupted by memories of Nanami. He returns to the shrine only to face a vocabulary test. Elsewhere, tanuki geisha recount how Mizutama survived Akura-Ou’s massacre of apprentice geisha six hundred years ago, having been spared by Tomoe. In the Netherworld, Nanami and Kirihito flee caveman yokai and are summoned before Izanami, the Goddess of the Netherworld.

Feb 3, 2015Nanami and Kirihito encounter Izanami at her fortress, where she imprisons Kirihito and warns Nanami that he inhabits a dead man's body. Nanami refuses to leave and uses a white talisman to locate him. Flashbacks reveal Akura-Ou possessed Kirihito Mori, a climber who died in an avalanche, to apologize to his mother. In the present, Nanami finds Kirihito in a cell, and he reveals he took her hair to sustain his human form in the Netherworld. They flee from a cat yokai named Hio. Meanwhile, Tomoe travels to Yomotsu Hirasaka but is blocked by Takehaya, the War God. Kotetsu restores Tomoe's yokai form, enabling him to break the seal and enter the Netherworld. Kirihito attempts to attack Tomoe but departs after questioning Nanami's significance to him.

Feb 10, 2015On the fourth day of the Divine Assembly at the Grand Shrine, Nanami learns from Ookuninushi that Tomoe is imprisoned for reverting to his yokai form. She visits him, but he asks for time before resuming his role as her familiar. Mizuki delivers peach pills and clarifies that Tomoe’s feelings for Nanami are genuine, not merely familiar-bound. Tomoe verifies this while Nanami sleeps, unaware her dream kiss was real. Ookuninushi eventually forgives Tomoe, allowing him to serve Nanami again. During a festival, an awkward moment occurs when Nanami removes her jacket, revealing a camisole that Tomoe deems immodest. On the final day, Nanami locates Mikage, who intends to restore Tomoe’s concern for humanity through interaction with her, but he vanishes just as Tomoe spots him.

Feb 17, 2015Ookuninushi thanks Nanami for attending the Divine Assembly but states that humans and yokai cannot have relationships. Discouraged, Nanami asks Tomoe and Mizuki to return to the shrine alone. She then spends time with Himemiko of the Swamp, who advises Nanami to enjoy her life with Tomoe because humans live shorter lives than yokai. Meanwhile, Kirihito is visited by the yokai Yatori, who wishes to serve him in reviving Akura-Ou. On the way home, Nanami and Tomoe encounter Botanmaru, a child crow tengu unable to fly. Tomoe is unkind to him, but Nanami helps. Botanmaru explains that his friend Shinjuurou left Mount Kurama young after failing to learn flight. Nanami realizes Botanmaru meant Shinjuurou Kurama after seeing a concert advertisement. She takes Botanmaru to the concert, where Kurama debuts a new album cover.
EP 7Kurama Returns to Mount Kurama Amidst Village Crisis and Miasma
Feb 24, 2015Botanmaru urges Kurama to return to Mount Kurama after Soujoubou, the third chief of the tengu village, collapses, releasing a miasma cloud. Kurama remembers past mistreatment by villagers due to his lineage, except for Suiro, who treated him like a brother. Accompanied by Nanami and Tomoe, the group traverses a foggy forest where Kurama briefly hallucinates an evil Suiro wielding a scythe before hearing a flute. Upon entering the village, they meet Suiro, who resides in a dilapidated house away from the compound. Meanwhile, Yatori serves Jirou, who aims to become the successor within days. Nanami encounters a rotting thousand-year-old sacred cherry blossom tree while seeking a restroom. Three crow tengu yokai children explain its significance. Nanami uses her powers to temporarily restore the tree, causing the children to leave excitedly. As leaves fall, Jirou stares speechlessly at Nanami.

Mar 3, 2015After escaping Jirou with Mamoru's help, Nanami returns to Suiro, who warns that delivering peach pills to Soujoubou is difficult because he is locked inside the Grand Hall, a sanctum protected by Jirou's forces. Meanwhile, Kurama is pressured by three crow tengu villagers to become their fourth chief, an offer he rejects. Nanami and Tomoe ignore Suiro's advice to leave and instead devise a plan to infiltrate the Grand Hall. Nanami will be accompanied by Botanmaru to locate Soujoubou, while Tomoe and Kurama confront Jirou. That night, Nanami sleepwalks into Tomoe's bed, causing Tomoe to develop feelings until she wakes and flees in embarrassment. The next morning, Tomoe lies about holding her, claiming he was half-asleep. Tomoe and Kurama pass the front gate, while Nanami and Botanmaru search for an entry point into the Grand Hall.
EP 9The God Is Blindsided
Mar 10, 2015Kurama and Tomoe attempt to infiltrate the compound by incapacitating Jirou, with Tomoe disguising as Nanami to succeed. They locate the frozen Suojoubou, but peach pills fail to revive him. Yatori exposes their presence, leading Jirou to imprison Kurama and Tomoe in an electrified cage while Nanami and Botanmaru are locked in the basement. Yatori confesses to stealing Soujoubou’s soul through deceit. Nanami commands Mamoru to defeat Yatori, who refuses to reveal the soul's location. Meanwhile, three crow tengu children anger Jirou by wandering aimlessly. Nanami exploits this distraction to erect a superior barrier, destroying the cage and purifying the entire area.

Jirou confesses his love for Nanami before fainting, while Kurama and Botanmaru return the soul to a cured Soujoubou. Jirou recovers using peach pills and reflects on Soujoubou's advice. They locate the body on a mountain of fire, yet Yatori returns Kirihito home due to dangerous miasma. Kirihito vows to reclaim the body, but smoke from the mirror forces him to smash it. Meanwhile, Nanami receives a wedding proposal for Himemiko, causing Tomoe dismay as Mizuki encourages her. The trio visits the Year God Shrine for new talismans. Nanami ignores Tomoe's orders and passes through her gate, emerging transformed into a child twelve years younger. A flashback shows Nanami's father leaving with chocolate while debt collectors harass her ill mother.

Mar 31, 2015Nanami learns independence from her dying mother due to her absent father. Tomoe visits her childhood memories, taking young Nanami away from Mizuki. During a town stroll, Nanami asks if Tomoe loves her, and he confirms before proposing marriage, which she accepts.
