Hiroto interviews Dr. Asama regarding Shuichiro Korogi's thesis while Youta watches lawyer Kako Tengan on television. Hina secretly enters a mahjong tournament under Youta's name to arrange their meeting. Two days later, Youta competes in the Libertas Cup with support from Hina, Kyouko, and Ashura. In the waiting room, he encounters Kako. During the match, Youta initially trails behind but uses unconventional strategies to stage a comeback, impressing Kako and securing victory. Afterward, Kako attempts to seduce Youta, but he rejects her advances. Hina becomes annoyed when Youta reports the missed opportunity to her.
