Nishikata proposes a deal to Takagi: she must cease teasing him if he achieves a higher total score than her on the school's physical-fitness test. Later, frustrated with the class camping trip preparation committee, Nishikata issues a dodgeball challenge to Takagi after school. Meanwhile, Mina, Sanae, and Yukari pursue a cat that has stolen Yukari's pastry at a candy store. At the same shop, Takagi and Nishikata purchase snacks for the upcoming camping trip. They are spotted by classmates while eating ramen-cups together, leading to an awkward encounter that highlights their developing dynamic amidst the daily school life events.
