Nishikata attempts to mimic a cool demeanor from a movie he watched the previous day. Meanwhile, Yukari and Sanae discuss how thick eyebrows suggest kindness, but Mina feels they are mocking her. Yukari worries Nishikata is sad because he spends less time with Takagi due to committee meetings. Later, Nishikata bumps into Takagi while picking up his birthday cake. Finally, different groups of classmates sneeze, which in Japan is believed to mean someone is spreading rumors about them.
