Sakon discovers Dr. Kobayashi hospitalized Youko despite her mild condition and notes her hostess work in Tokyo. Ghostly sightings of Tsukiko increase, leading to Dr. Kobayashi being lured to a warehouse by a note from her and subsequently found hanged. Tsukiko arrives shortly after, suffering from amnesia. Hoshie explains Tsukiko's identity to her, and Tsukiko provides a videotape found nearby. The recording depicts Dr. Kobayashi being attacked in the warehouse, apparently by Tsukiko herself.
