Hank and Schaal board a steam locomotive to reach the border, where they encounter the continent's largest steel bridge spanning a valley. This structure, known as the bridge of peace, connects the North and the South and is intended to support future generations. However, the Incarnate Behemoth, formerly known as Arthur Allston, is slowly marching toward this vital landmark. Hank has been summoned to intercept him. The narrative questions whether Hank can halt the Incarnate Behemoth, who appears nearly invincible against a barrage of bullets, as he attempts to protect the bridge and fulfill his duty.
