Jul 8, 2019William, Schaal's father, managed an orphanage on the outskirts of Livletwood Village, where Schaal lived modestly with him and the children. Rising prices due to the Civil War forced the family to pursue self-sufficiency. Military intelligence then visited William, revealing his unique skill. To ensure a secure future for Schaal and the other orphans, William decided to enlist in the war. Following the conclusion of the Civil War, William returned to the village transformed into the Incarnate, Nidhogg.
