Shin and the Ultimate Magicians arrive in Sweed in minutes, slaughtering shocked Demonoids who are revealed to be Blusfia Empire commoners retaining their sanity and hating nobility. August gives a speech rallying citizens and soldiers while Sizilien heals the injured. Lawrence secretly observes Shin, astounded by his power and believing he has no weaknesses for Schtrom to exploit. August and Maria defeat the Demonoid leader, Fabro, despite his use of stolen defensive magic items. Lawrence is shocked by the power of Shin and the Ultimate Magicians after over a hundred Demonoids die. Zest wonders if manipulating Schtrom into fighting Shin is viable, fearing Schtrom might not survive. To save Lawrence and Demonoids, Zest asks Miria to intervene. Schtrom, aware of Zest's plan, decides to go along with it.
