Apr 10, 2019After being reincarnated as a baby named Shin, the protagonist is raised by wizard Merlin Wolford alongside friends Melida and Michael. By age ten, he defeats a demon, revealing his past life memories to Merlin. At fifteen, Merlin realizes Shin lacks common sense and fears his scientific inventions could disrupt society. The group discovers that Merlin’s relatives are actually King Diseum, Christina, and Siegfried, high-ranking officials in Earlshied. To help Shin integrate into society and make friends, they relocate to the capital. At the Earlshied Magic Academy, Shin saves two girls from attackers and develops an immediate romantic interest in one, marking his first encounter with peers of his own gender.

To ensure her safety, Shin modifies his academy uniform’s protective spells, a feat Melida identifies as creating a National Treasure level item. King Diseum warns Shin to keep his creation abilities secret to avoid inter-kingdom war, though he requests uniforms for August, Julius, and Thor. Maria wisely declines an offer. Shin then uses his secret teleportation spell to transport everyone home, further concealing his extraordinary magical prowess from the group.

Apr 24, 2019Shin escorts Sizilien to school and, advised by Augustus, creates the Ultimate Magic Study Group, which the class joins. Meanwhile, Diseum investigates rising demon sightings, and Kurt’s father withdraws him from the academy after Kurt rants about commoners and Shin. Thor explains Kurt’s radical change occurred after visiting the exiled blind teacher Mr Schtrom, who casts a spell on him. Shin accidentally reveals he killed a demon at age 10. When Kurt transforms into a Demonoid and attempts to destroy the Academy, Shin forces his friends to flee. To stop the catastrophic spell, Shin is forced to kill Kurt by severing his head. Augustus warns that destroying a Demonoid will bring fame and future difficulties.
EP 4Shin confronts Schtrom after theorizing Kurt was an artificial experiment victim
May 1, 2019Shin suspects Kurt was a victim of human experimentation, earning a medal from Diseum despite Merlin’s concerns about political involvement. Shin’s growing fame forces his tutors to test applicants, allowing Mark and Olivia to join his study group. He tasks Mark with upgrading his sword to handle enchantments. Meanwhile, the Security Bureau investigates Schtrom, who feigns remorse and agrees to study Kurt’s corpse. However, Schtrom is exposed when he learns Kurt’s name was never public. He attacks the castle, leading to a duel with Shin. Shin destroys Schtrom’s mask, revealing his Demonoid eyes, and uses a heat ray spell to vitrify the floor. While the council praises Shin, they misunderstand his magic. Schtrom ultimately survives and escapes the destruction.

At a public ceremony, Diseum awards Shin a medal and guarantees he will not be used for political or military purposes. Shin tries to help his friends improve their skills but struggles because his magic requires scientific knowledge they lack. Meanwhile, Schtrom and Miria secretly manipulate the Blusfia king. Merlin demonstrates that Shin’s teleportation spell can be learned, inspiring the group. Shin retrieves his new sword with a detachable blade, leading August to consider its military cost-saving potential for the upcoming war against Blusfia. Despite Diseum’s assurance, Shin resolves to fight if necessary to protect his loved ones.
EP 6Joint training exercise between academy and knight students begins
May 15, 2019After Schtrom destroys Blusfia and enslaces its magicians, Diseum mandates joint training with the Knight Military Institute. Shin joins a team with August, Sizilien, Maria, and four knights: Kreis, Miranda, Neun, and Kent. Frustrated by the knights' arrogance, August allows them to fight a boar demon alone, but they are swiftly defeated. Shin saves them by decapitating the beast, revealing the necessity of magical support. Sizilien heals the injured knights, prompting three boys to develop crushes on her, which makes Shin, Maria, and Miranda jealous. When more demons attack, Shin annihilates them with a massive explosion spell. Miranda apologizes for her jealousy and for insulting Sizilien, causing embarrassment as Sizilien clarifies she and Shin are not dating.

May 22, 2019The Knights and magicians begin joint combat training, but other teams struggle to cooperate. Shin feels guilty after discovering that students from his study club must form a special team under August’s command for life. The club views this as career recognition. August later reports that Blusfia has been destroyed and Demonoids created from the population. Suspecting Schtrom’s involvement, Shin organizes a summer training camp at Sizilien’s family hot spring. Merlin and Melida join as chaperones to supervise the mixed group. Servants tease Sizilien about her relationship with Shin, while Merlin is pleased by his friend’s social circle. Melida amuses herself by provoking jealousy among the girls regarding their physical attributes. She then declares that she and Merlin will train the club members to maximize their strength.

August warns Shin that failing to confess to Sizilien soon may result in her choosing someone else. Later, Sizilien's sudden desire for children with Shin prompts him to realize August's point, leading him to confess his love. Sizilien reciprocates, becoming his girlfriend, though their first kiss is interrupted when they discover Merlin, Melida, and Sizilien's servants were spying. The next day, Shin trains at the beach under the guise of playing magicians volleyball. At night, everyone reminisces about childhoods, but hide when Melida enters to order sleep. Shin renames his group the Ultimate Magicians and prepares to fly to Sweed to confront the threat, shifting the focus from the fallen Empire to the impending conflict.

August gives a speech rallying citizens and soldiers while Sizilien heals the injured. Lawrence secretly observes Shin, astounded by his power and believing he has no weaknesses for Schtrom to exploit. August and Maria defeat the Demonoid leader, Fabro, despite his use of stolen defensive magic items. Lawrence is shocked by the power of Shin and the Ultimate Magicians after over a hundred Demonoids die. Zest wonders if manipulating Schtrom into fighting Shin is viable, fearing Schtrom might not survive. To save Lawrence and Demonoids, Zest asks Miria to intervene. Schtrom, aware of Zest's plan, decides to go along with it.

Jun 26, 2019Miria distracts enemies while Lawrence and the Demonoids retreat. Sizilien fails to heal a man, but Shin invents a multi-step spell to save him, impressing August. August asks Sweed to ally with Earlshied if attacked. He and Shin plan to visit many kingdoms to enable teleportation for aid. Diseum supports this diplomatic effort. Merlin and Melida urge Shin to protect August. Elizabeth, May, and every Ultimate Magician join the trip. Schtrom is annoyed his subordinates lost to Shin but asks Miria to update him on their baby plans. Zest is conflicted about Schtrom’s new goal to defeat Shin. The group departs. Merlin and Melida relax, but the Magicians teleport back immediately to save money on lodging for fourteen people.
