The Earth Federation's Londo Bell unit, supported by ECOAS special forces, initiates a mission to recover Banagher and the Unicorn Gundam from the resource satellite Palau, which serves as the base for Neo Zeon remnants called the Sleeves. During the ensuing conflict, Banagher encounters Mineva, who reveals her intention to travel to Earth to enlist the aid of Riddhe's father. Simultaneously, Frontal seeks to activate the Unicorn Gundam's NT-D system using the Cyber-Newtype Marida, viewing this as the key to unlocking Laplace's Box. While engaged in combat against Marida and her Kshatriya, Banagher experiences a Newtype resonance that allows him to perceive her tragic past and inner suffering.
