Rey locates a massive city hidden beneath an ice canopy in the mountains, offering temporary relief from the cold and the conflict with the Inbit. During this respite, Stig and Aisha develop a closer relationship, whereas Rey and Houquet experience a dynamic that resembles hatred. Simultaneously, Batra, the Inbit prince, pursues them closely. He arrives accompanied by several upgraded Gamo units, intending to eliminate the rebels permanently and end their resistance once and for all.
