Kojūrō recovers and prepares to escort Ageha home after school. She chooses to return to the Kuonji household because she is attracted to Ren. Upon seeing Ren and Ageha kiss, Kojūrō challenges Ren to a duel where the winner keeps Ageha. Ren parodies G Gundam by reciting the Shining Finger chant. Kojūrō yells "Become the light!!" in the vein of Gaogaigar. Taisa interrupts the scene in the vein of Master Asia. This confrontation determines who remains with Ageha. The episode features these specific pop culture references during the conflict between the two suitors.
