Ep. 1: Black Edge Mercenaries Investigate Demonic Activity in King's Forest

The Black Edge mercenary group resides in Orvelia, where leader Riheet meets Councilor Moriham to propose investigating demonic reports in the King's Forest. While the royal court rejects their aid, Riheet discusses national takeover plans with fellow dark elves. Concurrently, Clause and his squad are assigned to investigate the forest demons. They suffer an ambush resulting in multiple soldier deaths, leaving Clause to hold the line while one survivor returns to Orvelia to report the incident. Upon learning of the attack, Kasel and Frey immediately rush to the forest to rescue Clause.
