Ep. 5: Kasel defeats a plant demon and learns of his royal lineage from a witch.

Kasel and his companions rest at Lorraine’s residence, where they bury Necha’s sprout in a familiar spot. Selene observes Kasel’s respectful behavior, causing his seed to bloom, and admits to Lorraine that she now believes some humans are genuinely good despite her lingering distrust. Convinced by this change, Lorraine removes a seal from the Holy Sword Eia and instructs Kasel to journey to Ogria Mountain to seek the orc leader’s help for the second seal. On their departure, the group is attacked by the plant demon that killed Necha, but Kasel defeats it without succumbing to anger. They encounter a witch who fought the Black Edge previously; during the clash, Cleo reveals Kasel is King Kyle’s son. The witch warns that Kasel will become a puppet of Lua, just as Kyle did. Meanwhile, in Orvelia, Councilor Moriham gains noble approval to deploy the Black Edge against the demon army, viewing it as a chance to make Riheet a knight.
