The breakaway force arrives at the Throne Room to confront the traitor Cheng Jiao, who is protected by a monstrous pet that appears immune to weapons. Ba Jio displays a previously unseen level of savagery in the ensuing battle. The conflict centers on whether Ba Jio can overcome the immense brute strength of Lan Kai. This confrontation determines the outcome of the assault on the traitor and his seemingly invulnerable guardian within the throne room.
