Aoi Tategami, lead vocalist of Wild Azur, wants to impress musician Ayane Misaki at a Battle of the Bands contest. While Aoi struggles with lyrics, Ichika attempts to cheer her with ice cream, but the truck is robbed by Gummy Gang member Hotto. Inspired by the sky, Ichika and Himari create a sky blue Lion Ice-cream for Aoi, reminding her of her passion for singing. When Hotto interrupts the performance, Ichika and Himari intervene. Aoi awakens the power to transform into Cure Gelato, using ice abilities and a lion's roar to defeat Hotto. Although the crowd is initially scared, Aoi uses her heartfelt song to win them back and impress Ayane.
