Following this event, Shinichi faces multiple interrogation sessions where he successfully conceals his supernatural abilities from the authorities. The investigators, unable to extract a confession through standard questioning, resort to extreme measures in a final attempt to uncover the truth behind his powers and the circumstances surrounding Reiko's demise.
