Ep. 22: Shinichi escapes after Migi's sacrifice and decides to face Gotou alone.

Following the failure of their ambush on Gotou, Migi sacrifices itself to enable Shinichi's escape. He is subsequently taken in by Mitsuyo, an elderly woman he encounters while fleeing. After spending several days in her shelter, Shinichi learns that Gotou is attacking nearby villagers. Consequently, he chooses to confront the threat by himself rather than remaining hidden. This decision marks a shift from their previous joint strategy to a solitary approach against the antagonist. The narrative focuses on Shinichi's resolve to protect the community despite the loss of his companion and the dangers posed by Gotou's ongoing assault on the local population.
