Persia requests Char's assistance for her birthday, prompting Inuzuka to seek shopping permission from the twins. After a chance encounter with Char, a police officer warns of Touwan radicals, leading Char to compel Inuzuka to serve as her bodyguard. While the twins discuss Inuzuka's rosary, his brother Airu overhears them. Char attempts to manipulate Inuzuka into ending his relationship with Persia, resulting in a scolding that reminds Char of Persia's past discipline. Radicals mistakenly identify Inuzuka as an ally, but he protects Char to prevent Persia's distress. Char confesses her jealousy regarding Persia's request for Inuzuka's company. Inuzuka asks Persia for her desired gift, and she requests matching couple accessories. Believing the couple is destined to separate, Char worries about the future and torments Scott for comfort.
