Meme Oshino assists Koyomi in battling three vampire hunters—Dramaturgy, Episode, and Guillotinecutter. After defeating them, Koyomi retrieves the limbs of Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Under-Blade in an attempt to regain his humanity. However, Kiss-Shot informs him of the harsh realities of being a vampire, a being bound to the night. Overwhelmed by regret, Koyomi is unable to undo his actions and faces his grim fate with denial.
