The D-Team travels to Kyoto with Dr. Spike Taylor to deliver a complete Fukuisaurus fossil to Dr. Owen. A Fukuisaurus card activates and begins stealing shiny objects. Dr. Z, whose back has improved, joins Ursula, Zander, Ed, Laura, and Rod to retrieve the card. Zander summons Spiny to fight the creature but ends up battling Rex and Ace. Ed summons Tank, but Fukuisaurus defeats her and later Spiny. Laura and Rod arrive to summon Terry, who defeats Fukuisaurus. Finally, Max and Chomp defeat the creature and obtain the card.
