Reese warns the D-Team and Alpha Gang that flora and giant insects are overtaking their era. After Jonathan returns the timeship to the present, the groups discover it overrun by vegetation and bugs. They proceed to the D-Lab, where Reese, Laura, Rod, Dr. Owen, and Patrick are trapped by living vines. Zoe and Rex are captured, but Max and Chomp evade the plants to attack their roots. With Laura and Rod rescued, the teams return to the Jurassic to repair damage caused by Space Pirates. They then head to the Stone Age for the last Cosmos Stone. There, they confront Gavro, Foolscap, and Sheer alongside Gigas, Armatus, and Maximus, arming their dinosaurs. Spectre arrives and transforms his Apatosaurus, Brontikens, into its full dinosaur form.
