The Hayama family travels to the Kurata Hot Springs Inn in Kusatsu for their winter vacation. They arrive as surprise guests after being invited by Sana’s grandmother, who is focused on matchmaking. While staying there, Akito and Sana overhear a conversation in which another family threatens to take over the inn. This threat arises because no one wishes to inherit the property from Sana’s family. Consequently, the other family considers moving to the location to assume control of the establishment.
