Tadano consults Hitomi about a White Day present for Komi, though she mistakenly assumes the gift is for a male friend. Hitomi accompanies him to a department store before he visits Komi’s home, where he meets Shuko and Masayoshi. Komi nervously clears the room and happily receives hand cream from Tadano. Later, she wins an eraser-bumping game at school after Najimi injures their finger. The pair reflects on their upcoming second year, but their conversation is interrupted by Najimi. On the first day of their second year, Komi expresses her hope that she and Tadano will continue to get along well during this new academic period.
