Komi meets friends Mikuni Katō and Ayami Sasaki for a train journey to Kyoto. Upon arrival, the class meets tour guide Ryouko Tenjouin, who struggles to engage the indifferent students. Her spirits lift when she notices Komi and Tadano paying attention. The pair later separate from the group to admire local architecture, delighting Tenjouin. At the hotel, Komi and the girls bathe and engage in a pillow fight, pretending to sleep when the teacher checks. Komi declines Yamai's advances during this time. Meanwhile, the boys ask Tadano to take their photos, causing confusion for Komi regarding his excitement. The episode concludes with Komi lying awake in her room late at night.
