Ep. 3: Haruka hides her tone deafness and feels devastated after Yoshihisa is hospitalized.

Haruka attempts to conceal that she overheard Yoshihisa’s confession while the group visits karaoke, where her complete lack of musical ability is exposed. The following evening, she intends to prepare a homemade lunch for him, but Hiyori’s karate students accidentally injure Yoshihisa so severely that he requires hospitalization. When the class learns of the incident, Haruka perceives Hiyori’s anxiety about being discovered and offers reassurance before visiting the hospital. Upon hearing Yoshihisa’s internal thoughts that he wished to protect her from trouble, Haruka becomes devastated, believing her actions only cause harm to those around her, and subsequently withdraws from the situation.
