Ep. 9: Haruka faces police scrutiny and social isolation after hospital release.

Haruka returns from the hospital and suspects a mind-reading victim was the attacker. She asks Yoshihisa to stay over, but Hiyori’s arrival interrupts his inappropriate intentions. Police officers question students about the attacks, leaving Haruka depressed because her psychic knowledge cannot be shared. A conversation with Hiyori sparks rumors that she knows the truth, causing conflict with classmates. Zenzou, urged by Yuriko to lift Haruka’s spirits, takes the group to a hotel dinner. Kumiko appears on a date and accuses Haruka of using her powers. Yoshihisa and others defend Haruka, with Yoshihisa’s behavior inadvertently revealing Kumiko’s hidden concern. After Kumiko departs, Zenzou suggests ending the meal, but the group chooses to remain together.
