Felli detects a life-form within Gandoweria, which Layfon identifies as the electronic spirit known as the Fallen One, appearing as a golden goat. Nina rejects Layfon’s survival philosophy, ignoring his advice. Flashbacks reveal Layfon’s past in underground matches, including a bout against Gahard that led to his expulsion from the Heaven's Blades. Shante kidnaps Felli but is rescued by Gorneo. In the selenium fuel repository, Shante attacks Layfon with a DITE spear, missing him and accidentally striking the reactor. The resulting explosion is halted by Layfon’s kei. Layfon ensures Gorneo’s safety, while Nina rescues Shante from falling.
