Zuellni remains stationary after Nina’s disappearance, while a dormant contaminoid lies dormant for two hours before cannon recharge. Dickserio navigates Glendan’s inner palace labyrinth, encountering Barmeleen Swattis Norne and the Wolfmask Mob. Meanwhile, Felli, Sharnid, Harley, and Dalsiena search for Nina, with Felli defying Kalian to help her platoon. Layfon approaches the comatose contaminoids and discovers Nina on the city outskirts, fully possessed and wearing a large goat mask. He removes the mask and carries her to safety, explaining his desire to atone for using his sword wrongly. Nina insists he fight for others, not himself. As other Heaven's Blade wielders battle contaminoids and the Wolfmask Mob urges Alsheyra for reinforcements, Savalis attacks the remaining platoon members and kidnaps Nina.
