Nina returns to her comrades but cannot explain her time in Myath or Gandoweria within her body. Layfon agrees to train with Shante after Gorneo consents. A flashback reveals Zidd defaced the Kalfa family and Ailen remains alive. Frustrated by his inferiority complex toward Layfon, Haia resolves to duel him. Felli sulks over Layfon’s normalcy compared to Nina’s return, criticizing Nina’s evasion and Layfon’s calm acceptance. Haia uses Felli as bait for the duel. Layfon receives a message regarding conditions to retrieve Felli. As the night before the intermunicipal battle approaches, Layfon prepares for the confrontation with Haia while Leerin finally enters Zuellni.
