Dr. Brandow joins the Imperial Army, revealing past involvement with the Steel Angel Project. Nakahito struggles with rude awakenings while Dr. Ayanokoji doubts the Army can awaken the second Steel Angel prototype, unaware of Brandow's role. Kurumi grows agitated by boredom as Nakahito refuses to issue orders. When he finally does, the command leads both him and Kurumi into trouble.
