Dr. Amagi reports to the general and is relieved of duty. Kurumi and her new little sister Saki repair battle damage. The general assigns Yoshiko Koganei and Eiko Kichijoji to secretly monitor Kurumi and assist if needed. The group attends a fireworks festival, but tensions rise when Nakahito is kidnapped. Kurumi sets out to find him, leading to a dramatic confrontation during the event.
