Following Reishin's disappearance, the Kaionji clan Chairman announces Yuki Kaionji's engagement to Kuraki, who becomes Vice-Chairman, causing disgust among the clan children. Keita hides in flooded Okinawa ruins to avoid the Kaionji Group intelligence agency but desperately seeks to save Akane Sano from Kuraki. During Kuraki’s inauguration at the Kaionji hotel ballroom, attended by the Master Roots, Bernhard leads Noble One operatives Yakumo and Riona to rescue Akane. Simultaneously, Keita and Kuro confront Kuraki directly. Yuki threatens to kill Akane to end her suffering as a Sub and maintain her position within the Kaionji clan.
